Fundación Juan March devotes a retrospective exhibition to sound art, a discipline that has gained greater visibility over the last 30 years thanks to academic papers, monographic shows and specialised bibliography. Spain has hosted major events such as the Encuentros de Pamplona (The Pamplona Meetings), in 1972, the publishing of La mosca detrás de la oreja (Madrid, 2010) and the radio programme Ars Sonora. The exhibition includes works by the group Zaj, Isidoro Valcárcel Medina, Walter Marchetti, Juan Muñoz, Francisco López, José Antonio Orts, Eduardo Polonio, Esther Ferrer, Juan Hidalgo, Wolf Vostell, Javier Aguirre, Nacho Criado, Francesc Abad, Eugènia Balcells and Eugeni Bonet.
